Nino and I love taking the kids to the movies.
We love the research that goes into the movie we will watch as a family.

We love the process of getting dressed in comfy clothes so we can relax in the air conditioned theater with our popcorn.
There are movies that can be used as tools to teach our kids. Movies that can inspire us to be better parents. And movies that remind us what all the madness in the world is for. Those are the kind of movies that I love to bring the kids to. Those are the kind of movies that offer opportunity to grow and learn with our kids.
Conversely, I also love the time when Nino will take me out to watch a movie that is just for us. Date night is important to us as a couple. It’s important to get out, and be able to talk without interruption. To spend time just the two of us.
But let’s be real. Getting out of the house with four kids isn’t always easy.
Sometimes, one of the kids can be down with a cold.
And sometimes, it’s just easier to wear my yoga pants and throw my hair in a mom bun, so I can watch a movie in the comfort of my own home.

This is just one of the many reasons why our family has moved in with NETFLIX.

Seriously?
We LOVE Netflix.
We love Netflix for the ease with which we can watch NOT ONLY movies, but also our favorite series in the comfort of our own home. (Not to mention when we are on the road too…)

I love Netflix because I can create profiles for each of the kids according to their ages and what’s appropriate for them to view. And it doesn’t matter whether I am with them or not, because the settings are stored in the account profiles.

Like take for instance Gelli. Although, she never will be watching tv by herself, I can set it in a way, that if she DID watch by herself, only certain shows would come up.

And, depending on the account that you choose to avail of, you can determine the number of screens that can be connected at the same time.
Actually, it’s pretty convenient.

I am super looking forward to more binge watching my series and movies both with Nino and with the kids. Currently, I’m enjoying The Good Wife, The Crown, Vikings, and FRIENDS.
